The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks is a creative, entertaining and untraditional love story. The main characters are diverse and arent what you’d expect the main characters of a love role to be. The female main character is a tough, rough edged teenager who potentionally could be the most beautiful girl but instead chooses to hang out with the wrong crowd, wear too much black eye makeup and fight and ignore her parents like its her job. The love intrest Will, is a wealthy prep kid who works at his dad’s famous car garage on the weekends with his bestfriend, volenteers at the local marine and also plans to attend the same prestigious college his parents had. Although you’d expect them to fall in love, everything be a fairytail and they live happily ever after, that’s not how it plays out at all. This book kept me so interested I couldn’t put it down, literally. There are plenty of unexpected events and comical bits. The book is writen so that both the actors have a comical and sarcastic relationship and it’s something anyone could relate to and consider comical.

I would consider this book one of the best books I have ever read and I would recommend it to anyone. I would especially recommend it to people who enjoy reading novels on family relationships, teenagers, love and sarcastic people. On a scale of one to ten I would rate this book a 9, because I really enjoyed it and it was very well written. This book is a read you can really get into and hooked on, it’s something that will make you wonder, mad and laugh. The reason id rate it a nine out of ten is because the ending wasent what I had expected, it was short and just not really relevent. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, it’s deffintly a thumbs up!
